Vocal Choir

Members of our voice choir perform during worship services beginning in September through May.  Rehearsals are once a week for one hour primarily on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm.  No musical background is necessary.

Altar Guild

Members of the Altar Guild are responsible for preparing the altar for each worship service.  Duties would include changing out the altar cloths seasonally as well as preparing the chalice and vessels used for Communion.

Ruth Guild

Ruth Guild members’ primary mission is to help the women of the congregation grow in their Christian faith and service. They are also associated with the Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League (LWML), the official woman’s auxiliary of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).  Meetings are held at various times through out the year, offering a variety of programs such as videos, bible studies, inspirational devotions and church activities in keeping with their mission.

Happy Crafters

If you enjoy creating arts and crafts, this is the place for you. Crafters meet every Thursday in the Hoge Hall from 9-11 am. Casual in nature, it is a place to enjoy some fun and Christian fellowship.

Youth Group

Our youth group here at Grace is a perfect blend of community service and fun. Gatherings and activities are planned throughout much of the year, including events such as bowling, scavenger hunts and sleep overs. Community service has included helping and serving meals for the homeless at St. Ben’s, as well as raising awareness for world hunger by participating in World Vision’s 30 hour famine.  Whether you’re a parent with a child or simply enjoy the vitality and energy of our young people, we would love to have you join us.

Ushers here at Grace are assembled in teams of four and provide valuable assistance before and during worship services.  Duties would include greeting, distribution of worship bulletins, the offering collection and giving direction during the distribution of Communion.

Lay Readers

Here at Grace our worship format includes the reading of the Gospel as well as the first lesson drawn from both Old and New Testaments. Reading the first lesson from the lecturn, the lay person in the congregation has a chance to be a part of the worship service directly. Reading schedules are flexible to account for one’s availability.
