Services
We are proud to be a member of this community, with a near-new facility and great location. However we can serve you, please let us know! Still, we are still a house of worship and second home for our flock; our regular services and members do take priority. Please be in touch with our office if you would like to make a reservation.

BAPTISMS
In Matthew, chapter 28, we have a beautiful mandate from our Lord:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
In and through Baptism, God cleanses us from all of our sins, snatches us from the power of Satan, and gives us everlasting life. It is all God’s doing as He gives us His blessing. It is His promise.
In Baptism, our Triune God personally imparts to each of us the gifts the Lord Jesus Christ won for the world through His life, suffering, death, and resurrection.
Titus 3:3–7
3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Please see especially Gal. 3:27; Col. 1:13–14; 1 Peter 3:21; and 1 Cor. 6:11.
Do you want to be baptized? Is there someone in your family who is not yet baptized?

MARRIAGE
The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) has affirmed, on the basis of Scripture, that marriage is the lifelong union of one man and one woman. As a member of the LCMS, Grace Lutheran Church conducts weddings that join one man and one woman who intend to be joined for their mutual lifetime with a Christian vow.
(Genesis 2:2-4; Matthew 19:5-6)
As noted above, our sanctuary is a special place for our church. Anyone wishing to be married in our facility must:
1. Be a member of our congregation, a sister congregation of the LCMS, or in regular contact with the pastor; only Lutheran, Christian weddings will take place here.
2. Go through at least 2 classes with pastor about the Christian vows of marriage and what the Scriptures teach about being a man and a woman.
Holy Matrimony is one of the most serious vows of your life, alongside Baptism. Please take our guidelines seriously, because we view marriage as a serious joy! Be in contact with our office if there are any more questions.

FUNERALS
“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep.” (1 Thess. 4:13–14 ESV)
As Christians, we do not mourn as the rest of the world does. We are committed to celebrating the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, and the resurrection coming for your family members. Christians have funerals, not to “say goodbye” or “mourn productively,” but to thank God for the life of the departed and encourage each other with the hope of resurrection through Christ. As Christians, we encourage burial over cremation, as a testament to this hope, although God has power to raise all people just the same.
If you are planning a funeral and desire some pastoral counsel, please let our office know. If you would like our pastor to preside and preach for your loved one’s funeral, please be in contact. Every situation is different, and we want to hep the best we can.

Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.”
John 11:25-26

Romans 10:6-11
6 But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
