Holiday Trees

Memory Tree

As many of you know, we here at Grace have our Memory Tree. For those who may not know, at our Christmas service, we take time out of the service to remember loved ones who have passed on to be with Our Lord.  This year, we will take time in both services and remember our loved ones.  All you have to do is pick out an ornament, bring it to either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day service.  Make sure the name of your loved one is one the ornament somewhere.  These ornaments stay at church from year to year.  We started with the tree in the Narthex.  Well, the years passed, and we now have all 3 trees as Memory Trees.  The newest ornaments always go on the Narthex tree.  So don’t forget, bring your ornament with your loved ones name on it to either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day service, and place it on the tree during the designated time.  This loved one can be anyone, someone who touched your life in anyway while they were here.  It does not even need to be someone who passed this past year.

Mitten Tree

Don’t forget out Mitten Tree.  It’s not only for mittens, you can add gloves, scarves, hats, earmuffs, etc.  The tree will be in the Narthex from the Sunday after Thanksgiving to the Sunday before Christmas.  Help those who are less fortunate then us to stay warm this winter.  Thanks to all who help and bring items in.           Kenny Lovas
